North Beach is a short, entirely residential section of Long Beach Township tucked between Harvey Cedars and Surf City on the north-central stretch of Long Beach Island. There's no commercial district at all — no shops, no restaurants — and that's precisely its appeal: a calm beach week with the boulevard noise turned all the way down.

The northern line is William Street: William is the last Harvey Cedars street, and 124th Street, immediately south of it, is the first North Beach street. Two welcome signs stand at that same point on the Boulevard facing opposite directions, one placed by each town. At the southern end, North Beach gives way to Surf City just below Sherwood Way, around 1004 on the Boulevard, where the Surf City welcome sign sits. North Beach has no street grid of its own — Boulevard addresses run a 1000-series from roughly 1006 at the south end to 1118 at the north, and what you see signed on the ground is a mix of numbered streets like 124th and 118th and named lanes such as Barbay, Roxie, Bay Shore, Windward and Sherwood.
The beaches here are quiet and uncrowded, used almost exclusively by the surrounding homes and their renters. The dune line is tall and well-vegetated, so most access is by walkways at the street ends.
